Brief In-Game History:

Mukuro was one of many orphans who skulked the streets of Gela, begging for coin and stealing food where he could get it. His parents had died of flux sometime before he had turned five, and if asked, he claimed to have no memory of them. Left with no relatives nor money to speak of, all he took with him was his name and his light fingers, fingers which he used to liberate many a purse from their owners over the course of his young years. His angelic features helped in his deceptions, and the natural quickness of his feet bore him away from many local law enforcement officers when they spotted him making off with stolen goods. They soon knew to recognise his dark hair and dark blue eyes, which only meant that Mukuro had to be even sneakier and subtle about his thievery.

For six years, he lived this way: attaching himself to gangs when he saw fit, abandoning them when things took a turn for the worse. He kept himself clothed, fed - alive. However, even his luck had to run out sometime.

Every morning he would head to the market and wait and watch for a baker's loaves to become unguarded. When their eyes had turned away but for moment, he would be there secreting it beneath his ragged jacket, before slipping away. On one particular morning, as he was reaching out to slide such a loaf of bread off its place on the rack, a strong fist caught his wrist and held it tight. The owner had been more watchful than he'd thought.

He was turned over to the police and, for the first time in his young life, spent time in a jail cell. He would have gone to prison as well, had the Mendolia not intervened.

In less than a day, he was handed over to a trio of men in dark suits and bundled into a van containing several other small time criminals caught by the police. They were driven to Vizzini and delivered to what he would later learn were the headquarters for the Mendolia's experimental laboratories. There, the scientists almost immediately began transforming him into a human weapon through a bloody and agonising process that quickly caused him to develop an unquenchable hatred for the Family.

Because the adults were as much users of the perforare as the children they trained were, he decided that in his current state he would not be able to enact any form of revenge on those responsible for destroying so many lives. Instead he formed a plan to escape from the facility, enlisting the help of several other children. By pooling their limited talents together, they managed to break out and, once free, go their separate ways. He took on the foreign name 'Mukuro Rokudou' and drastically changed his appearance hoping it might help him evade the Mendolia's notice.

Since then he has been hiding in plain sight, hiding the fact that he is a user of the perforare. He owns one of the guns and has the bullets to go with it, having traded them for a bit of thievery, but he makes sure to keep them out of sight unless he's training himself in their use. It takes a few months, but he manages to acquire a low-key job that does not ask too many questions about his past and is willing to pay his wages in cash. Now he hopes to blend in as a normal citizen until the time comes when he can eradicate the Family, oblivious to the fact that the Mendolia have never really lost track of him...

Bullet Abilities:

• THE REALM OF HELL -- Normal Intuito bullets draw out his power to affect the mind, manipulating the senses to instil illusions that are capable of driving even the most hardy, resolute person mad. Because he has shown an unusually high affinity for this bullet, the illusions he can produce are considered beyond just illusions - they could be reality. For that reason, this ability usually cannot be avoided. (But feel free to discuss possible exceptions with me.)


• THE REALM OF ANIMALS/DAEVA -- A lesser known ability he has is a side-effect of the Intuito bullet: his senses are enhanced, including his latent psychic ability which allows him to read minds. Given the overload of information though, it's not terribly effective and he has to be concentrating fully on his subject in order to glean anything meaningful.

• THE REALM OF ASURA -- Normal Scortesia bullets simply enhance whatever strength he has and quickens his reaction time. For the duration of the effect, he is also able to accelerate his learning in the use of weapons (and other physical skills).


• THE REALM OF HUMANS -- The combination Scortesia-Intuito bullets draw out his inner ferocity and rage and allow him to use both the above listed effects, only more amplified. As a result of it being incomplete, he is left disfigured for the duration of the effect. Like a normal Scortesia bullet, it gives him supernatural strength and agility far greater than that of a normal human's, but it does not make him any less immune to injuries. Therefore, without preparation or training it is all too easy for him to shatter his arm trying to throw a powerful punch. (Side effect: Leaves him sick and weak afterwards.)

Additional information:
+ He has two blue eyes, not heterochromia as he does in canon.
+ His hair colour, before being dyed the blue that most know it as, is dark brown (close to black).
+ He has NOT gone through the cycle of rebirth.
+ He is a jaded thief who will pick any pocket that he can.
